Really the yummiest! Kinda healthy and still taste like a cookie to the kids! perfect for trips to anywhere! They are a great texture - a little soft but still hold together!

makes about 30 bars
cook & prep time: aprox. 30 minutes
2 cups brown sugar
1 1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup karo syrup
1 cup melted butter
2 tsp. Vanilla
6 cups oats
1 cup coconut
2/3 cup wheat germ
1 cup chocolate chips (I prefer MINI ones)

Mix together all ingredients well. Spread onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes (prefer 20 min). Let cool completely and cut into bars. This is the best granola ever!

These are to die for...I mean to DIE FOR!!!...I omitted the coconut and added one more cup of oatmeal, making 7 cups in all...I made them twice last week and can't wait to make them again!!!
