COOKIES and CANDY, oh my!

Cookies & Candy ... from THE PIONEER WOMAN.


Directions: You only need [one of] this...
and [any of] this.. .

Slice dough into 1.25 in. slices then cut dough into quarters....Put each one in greased mini-muffin tin...Bake the cookie dough at 350 degrees for just a few minutes—6 to 8 at the most. Take them out just when they start to turn golden.Now, this is important. Almost as soon as you pull the warm cookies from the oven, you’ll want to begin lightly pressing one piece of candy into each cookie. The warmer the cookies, the better. They’ll grab onto the pieces of candy and work their magic, making the candy nice and soft and melty.
* 1 pkg cookie dough will make 24 mini-muffins full (aka you'll need 24 candies per pkg)*
*I used SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH and MINI PEANUT BUTTER CUPS.... Yum! *
* I also found the dough was too doughy once I put the cups in after 7/8 min, so I put them (dough with candy in it) back in the oven for 2 min. TIP: TWIST each one out of tin so you don't just pull off the top cookie part!*
