So this recipe is on the back of the pectin package, but I thought I'd post it anyhow since I LOVE homemade jam! I used frozen fruit because it was cheaper than out-of-season fresh. I have tried a lot of fruit-combos but so far this is my favorite!
1.) STIR sugar and contents of package in a bowl into well blended.
2.) CRUSH fruit (if using frozen, let defrost in fridge until barely thawed). I use a blender!
3.)ADD prepared fruit to sugar & pectin. STIR 3 minutes.
4.) LADLE jam into clean jars to fill line. Twist on lids. Let stand until thickened, about 30 minutes. Serve immediately, refrigerate up to three weeks or freeze up to one year.
* I always keep mine in the freezer.
