BEST EVER Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups butter, softened
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 cups dark or light brown sugar
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 t. almond extract
5 1/2 cups flour
2 t. salt
2 t. baking soda
1 small pkg French Vanilla Jello
2 pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven 350 degrees. In mixer bowl of stand mixer, cream butter and sugars. Beat in the eggs. Add extracts. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda & Jello powder. Add the dry ingredients to wet. Fold in chocolate chips. On a baking sheet drop by Tablespoon fulls the batter one and a half inch apart. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool. Enjoy!

I got this recipe from Jaime two weeks ago. I made the cookies, my husband has made them twice, and a friend who tried them has made them a couple of times as well.
We especially like them with pecans!
