CHICKEN & VEGGIE ALFREDO

I usually do not like Alfredo sauces, but this one is GREAT! I added in a few veggies & it went over really well with my family. Simple dinner by serving with refrigerated breadsticks!

4 boneless, skinless chicken tenders (or 2 breasts)
lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 package linguine noodles
2 cups frozen Chopped Broccoli
2 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 cube butter (1/2 cup)
1 (8 oz.) brick Cream Cheese
8 oz. half & half
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper

In a large pot, boil water and add linguine noodles and a dash of salt. While water is boiling/noodles are cooking, Season chicken with lemon pepper on each side and grill 4 minutes each side ( I use my Grill Pan from pampered chef). Steam broccoli in microwave for 3 minutes and drain off water. Chop tomatoes and set aside. Make sauce by melting butter in a med. sauce pan. Add cream cheese and whisk. Add half & half and whisk. Then add Parmesan, garlic powder, and pepper. Whisk until smooth. Drain noodles, then place in large serving bowl. Add broccoli and tomatoes. Chop chicken into bite sized pieces and add to serving bowl. Then pour sauce over and stir to coat thoroughly. Serve immediately.
