This was something my aunt threw together as an alternative to the usual holiday "funeral" potatoes. I actually like this recipe better! Tons of flavor and a is a simple side dish to a "fancy" meal.

makes 2 8x8 pans or oval baking dishes full, about 12 servings

5 lbs. red potatoes
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tub sour cream
cheddar cheese to taste (about 2 cups, grated)
dried dill (about 2 tblsp or more to taste)

Rinse and chop the potatoes into bite sized cubes (quarter). Boil in a large pot of water. Mix together remaining ingredients. Drain potatoes when cooked through and stir with sauce. Pour into baking dishes and heat in oven at 350 degrees until bubbly.
